Dye Hair DYE!

I rarely dye my hair, I just always enjoy being a brunette. I have dyed it auburn red and black before, always in the dark side. Wanting a new change Ive decided to go lighter. NOT BLOND. I think I would look ridiculous as one, and like I said I love being a brunette. Im not much for highlights so I just wanted a light brown. Went to Wal-Mart and picked up Revlon Colorsilk dye. So sorry but I cant remember the name, along the lines of medium brown. I really wanted to try to do it myself but I was a little timid. I had my friend Kelly supervising. THANK GOD! I would have had some major patches. LOL. Well the dye didnt make my hair lighter, sort of my fault. Should have chose something even lighter. Well here is the before pic

After

So its definetly not lighter but it did bring life back to my hair. Just didnt like that it had a red undertone in it.
I liked that this product brought gloves and in such a cute way too!

Do you guys think if I buy a really light dye that it will balance it out and make it light brown? And how soon after can you dye hair again? Any feedback will be great thank you!

ELF Haul

My Target doesnt carry ELF products so when I went to the city and found that their Target carried this line I was ECSTATIC! I mean makeup for a dollar, what a bargain deal. Ive been using these products for a while and am really impressed ESPECIALLY with the lip products! The super glossy lip shine comes in a tube form. It applies so smoothly and it is highly pigmented. It smells and taste good too. It is a bit on the sticky side. The plumping lip glaze was really odd to me. I was a little confused on how exactly it worked no product would come out until i turned the bottom part of it. It took quite a while for the product to come out. I was really annoyed by that BUT once you get pass that it is a really good lipgloss. It is minty sensation when applied and the color while sheer still provides a nice color on the lips. The plumpig glaze has some nice pigmentation. Im not sure which you apply first the clear part or the color. The clear color Im not so thrilled about it reminds me a lot of Carmex. Also didnt give my lips look bigger. I will just use the color part. Really happy with the lipglosses will definetly repurchase more.

Plumping Lip Glaze in Baby Doll
I bought an eyeshadow quad in Neutrals. I was intrigued by this palette because of the green shadows. I think the pigmentation on this quad is OK, they all are a bit shimmery especially the first color which looks like a sea green but as soon as you apply its almost white. I personally wouldnt use this quad for a whole eye look. I think they make great lid colors and the first one could be used as a highlight.

Ive never tried liquid liner so I thouhgt I give it a try. Again this product was Ok, a bit on the runny side and you have to wait a while before it dries. But the color is a pretty good black.
The 2 brushes I bought were ones I didnt have in my collection. A fan brush from the studio line and a contour angle brush. Both good brushes, I really like the fan brush for highlighting. The contour brush fits perfectly in my crease.
An eyelash kit for a dollar! Need I say more. Couldnt resist myself. I got the style in natural.
The product I was Really excited about was the bronzer and blush duo. The bronzer had some glitter in it but once applied it doesnt show. The blush has gold reflects in it. It is a deep peach color. I really liked this product.

Fall Ready:OOTD

Fall is almost near, are you ready? I AM! Although summer is my favorite season, I am a sucker for sweaters and jackets. It was a bit on the windy side the other day so I decided to cover up just a bit more. I had bought this boots a while ago and I was dying to wear them. This was a step up from casual, I was heading out to eat sushi with my friends.

Bday Celebration:Part 2

My very good friend took me to Melting Pot on my birthday. I never been and always heard good things. It is a modern restaurant that does fondue set on your table. First of all the place was very fancy looking but VERY dark.

You get to choose a cheese course, a main course and a dessert course.
We chose cheddar cheese. It contained beer, garlic, salt, pepper and cheddar to dip they give you brocoli, carrots, bread pieces and apples. I DO NOT think apples and cheese went well so I didnt attempt, but the bread was soft and DELICIOUS!

Then was the meat course we just ordered breast chicken. It comes raw and you cook it in the broth. IT also brought brocoli, potaotes, and mushrooms. Then there were sauces to dip in. One was curry, cheese, and terayaki.

The BEST part was the dessert course!!! We ordered the yin yang which was white and dark chocolate. The stuff you got to dip with was strawberries, pound cake, bananas, powdered marshmellows, brownies and cheesecake!!!

The food was amazing but the prices can be pretty pricey. So definetly a special occasion kind of place. But it was something fun and new.

My Birthday Weekend: Part 1

OMG!!! Thank god its Monday I am exhausted! My weekend was so amazing and so much fun. I turned 25 on Sunday. My birthday was parted into 2 parts. On Friday we had a nice dinner at Chili's. I was craving for a margarita, and Chilis has the best hands down...Presidente's!! I havent had any alcohol the second I found out I was preggo with my baby girl.

Then we went out dancing. I had a blast! I never danced so much in my life.

I wore fake eyelashes for the first time. Surprisingly easy to put on. Must say though quite uncomfortable, you definetly know you have some on. I would use them for special occasions only. Maybe next time I should go for something more natural. I was definetly inspired by the Kardashians. Makeup, hair and dress! I found this dress at Ross for $20.00!!!! Paired it up with my tennis bracelet and black satin heels, almost the same material as the dress. I really been into animal print lately and this was the first addition to my collection.
