Food That Day
I went to Morimoto Asia for lunch.
The place was filled with these amazing chandeliers and really brought an elegant atmosphere. Although the rest of the restaurant was very modern and classy looking our table was a bit on the wobbly side and kind of small. It is also slightly uncomfortable sitting only a feet away from strangers. I felt like they could listen to my conversation.....awkward. But the food was REALLY beautiful and tasted amazing. I had a eel and avocado roll for an appetizer. The beef noodles for my entree and a passion fruit iced tea.

And then the cake. My sister picked the cake this year and she chose a chocolate and white cake. My mom and I share our birthday and this way we both got what we like.

Inspiration To Recreation:Flower Arrangement

I had recently broke a vase that was square shaped. Which believe it or not are hard to find. I ended up buying this unique quadrilaterals vase. It didnt quite look the way I wanted to. So I did what any modern woman do and went on Pinterest for inspiration. I found this pic and knew I had to recreate this.

Last year I had a birthday party bought all these different kinds of sizes of pink diamonds. So instead of buying pearls I just used up my birthday decorations. They are more me anyway. I put the larger diamonds in the bottom, medium sized in the middle and the little ones last. Even though I feel that some of the smaller size ended up filling up empty spots. At the end I was happy with the final product...and it only cost me $6.00!

Lip Craze:ELF Matte Lip Colors

This is not a new product by any means just a lip product that I have loved for a long time and still do. Here are a few shades from ELF Matte lip color lipsticks.

Starting from the lightest to the darkest

This is a nude more in the cool side. A bit of a brown with a pink undertone.

This is something I believe is very rare to find a light coral. On my fair skin is was like a peachy nude but on my mother who has a bit more of a tan was a true coral.

Tea Rose

This is a cool purple with a grey undertone.

Toned down brick red

I love the formula to these lip products. Mattes can be difficult, whether they feel to dry or look crack. Luckily for me I have no problem with them. They wear great and can last for up to 4 hours. Good pigmentation and are true mattes. No shine but still manage to feel nice on the lips. What I love about them is that they are a lipstick in a pencil form. So it makes easier to apply. Each cost me $3.
