Coquette and Striking Spectaculaire

Coquette is a medium bright pink with silver glitter
Striking Spectaculaire is a matte red orange color


I absolutely love these colors and this line. Both are pigmented and amazing quality. I will have to say though that Matte balm lasted longer. Coquette did attend to slip and slide but that's because it does have a glossy finish. I like that both colors leave a stain on your lip, BUT Coquette left glitter residue. So it really depends on your preference. I love them both and will definitely consider getting in more colors.

Revlon Black Cherry Lipstick

I know this lipstick is scary looking. Especially for us fair skinned tone girls this may be intimidating. But once on the lips it makes them a beautiful dark wine color, a mixture of burgundy and red. It is the perfect vampy lip color I own. With such a daring lip color all you need is a thick lined eye and minimal cheeks and you have the PERFECT makeup look for this season.

Mint Nailpolishes

In search of the perfect mint nailpolish I went to Walgreens. In there I found Sinful Colors in Be Happy.



The color turned out more of a robin eggs blue. Plus the consistency of this polish was awful. It was really messy and it took a real long time to dry. But the color is real pretty and cost less than 2 dollars.

And at last I found the perfect mint polish. Revlon's Minted.

NOTD:Revlon's Starry Pink

Starry Pink is this beautiful pastel lavender and pink color with silver glitter in it. Its BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Even the name of the polish is adorable. In the bottle it appears more on the lavender side once on the nail pink shows more. It is a little sheer so I recommend applying a white or nude polish before applying Starry Pink. If you love soft glam nails beyond recommend this color.

By the way this polish was NOT easy to find. I found mine at Target for 4.99.

Revlon Colorburst Lipstick

I love Revlon colorburst lipsticks. I think they have the best texture, creamy and glides on smoothly. They are very moisturizing as well, really dont need a lipgloss over it. My new recent lipsticks are Fashion's Night Pout and True Red.

Believe it or not I only have red lipglosses so naturally I needed one for my collection. Im pale skinned so I believe a bright red looks better on me than a dark red.
Fashion's Night Pout is unfortunately limited edition. It is this beautiful nude, its like Soft Nude except I think Soft Nude has a peach tint to it. I personally like Fashion's Night Pout more because its more subtle and wearable.

Maybelline Eyeshadow Quad in Natural Smokes

I am really liking this quad its very pigmented and has such pretty colors. Not really sure its for the everyday eye, its more for a sultry look. But definetly can tone it done if you wanted to.

Ok now this quad I am BEYOND impressed with! SUPER pigmented and a lot of variety, it has shimmer and matte shadows, colors are light pink, purples then this beautiful grey shadow. You can do so many looks with this one quad and its soooo affordable. I really recommand this quad!

Dye Hair DYE!

I rarely dye my hair, I just always enjoy being a brunette. I have dyed it auburn red and black before, always in the dark side. Wanting a new change Ive decided to go lighter. NOT BLOND. I think I would look ridiculous as one, and like I said I love being a brunette. Im not much for highlights so I just wanted a light brown. Went to Wal-Mart and picked up Revlon Colorsilk dye. So sorry but I cant remember the name, along the lines of medium brown. I really wanted to try to do it myself but I was a little timid. I had my friend Kelly supervising. THANK GOD! I would have had some major patches. LOL. Well the dye didnt make my hair lighter, sort of my fault. Should have chose something even lighter. Well here is the before pic

So its definetly not lighter but it did bring life back to my hair. Just didnt like that it had a red undertone in it.
I liked that this product brought gloves and in such a cute way too!

Do you guys think if I buy a really light dye that it will balance it out and make it light brown? And how soon after can you dye hair again? Any feedback will be great thank you!

Revlon Colorburst vs. Revlon Matte Lipsticks

In this blog I am going to compare the same brand of lipstick but each are different textures.
As far as texture goes Colorburst are sooo creamy and just glide on smoothly on the lips. On the lips it feels moist and hydrates the lips. As for the Matte it dehydrates my lips and doesnt go as smoothly. On the lips Matte fall in the cracks. Doesnt look very appealing, especially Nude Attitude. Nude Attitude makes me look like a corpse. Now I will say though that it is good to mute the pigmentation on your lips so you can overlap it with a color to make it stand out more. It could also work to lighten a dark color. I will never wear it solo. Another thing I dont like about the Matte lipsticks is that with lipgloss it makes it all goopy looking since they do fall in the cracks. So you have to be careful with that. Colorburst just shines and looks really nice solo.
Both are super pigmented. What you see is what you get, which I like since you cant do swatches on drugstore.
The packaging of the colorburst lipsticks are so cute. They have the color of the lipstick on the top which is makes it easier to find. Then on the cover part they have a diamond design kinda reminds me of Chanel purse pattern. Which is so classy and chic. As for the Matte well its just a generic look with a silver band that says Revlon on it.
My favorite color out of all of these is the Soft Nude Colorburst. Im not much for nudes but this one is a peachy nude and doesnt make me look like a corpse. I will definetly purchase more of the Colorburst lipsticks. Since my lips are so dry and need moisturizing lip products Mattes just dont work for me. So I will no longer purchase from the Matte lipsticks.

I had originally went to CVS to pick up NYC bronzer in Sunny. Got so distracted picking up other things I was interested in and wound up leaving without the one thing I came in for. BUT got these other goodies.
