Hubby was craving rice and beans the other day. So today I thought I surprise him and make him arroz con gandoles! One of his fave puerto rican dish, we had it for our wedding and usually cook it for the holidays. So I went the only grocery store that sells ethnic food. Got all the beans and came across MALTA. I havent had a Malta in like years. So Im SUPER STOKED to have one.
P.S. Malta is not alcoholic. Its a malt drink.

OMG!! I know, my husband and most of my friends are white and they dont like it either. Guess its a hispanic taste thing. haha. And thank you he LOVED it!
